Lockkeeper for a Day
The sun shines, the washing hangs on the clothesline and the coffee is ready. Hanneke was lockkeeper for a day in ‘s-Hertogenbosch at the Brugwachtershuisje in Orthenbrug. This unique place is home to a camping café that is also a popular meeting spot. It is the perfect place for the workshop ‘Give your old clothes a new life’! Together with the neighbours and passersby we gave old clothing a second chance with the help of natural materials

Hanneke tijdens Sluismeester voor een dag
This project did not only brighten up the clothing but also the lives of the participants! Besides a nice finished project, a successful project creates new connections, encounters and a long- lasting impact. We have achieved this together. The participants brought homemade cake and joined in stimulating conversations with each other. It was inspiring to see how people spontaneously made future plans to help each other.
In short, a very successful project and a very satisfied lockkeeper.
